  • 2026 Branch Pub of the Year shortlist Sunday 30 November 2025

    The three pubs on the shortlist for our next Pub of the Year are:

    Bell & Bear, Emberton (CAMRA social arranged for 4 February)

    Chequers, Fenny Stratford (CAMRA social visit on 14 February)

    Victoria Inn, Bradwell Village (CAMRA social arranged for 18 February)

    Our shortlist for Cider Pub of the Year is:

    Chequers, Fenny Stratford (CAMRA social visit on 14 February)

    MK Biergarten (CAMRA social arranged for 29 January)

    Bell & Bear, Emberton (CAMRA social arranged for 4 February)

    Members should consider how each pub measures up against CAMRA criteria (which you can access on the previous page). The closing date by which members must submit their views is Saturday 28 February at 5pm.

  • Buckinghamshire Pub of the Year Friday 9 May 2025

  • Cider Pub of the Year Monday 30 March 2026

    This year we have reintroduced the Cider Pub of the Year Award, and our winner is The Bell & Bear at Emberton. Managers Reon and Joe were presented with their certificate on 19 March in front of a group of pub regulars and active CAMRA members, who applauded them on their success.

    Congratulations also go to the other finalists, The Chequers in Fenny Stratford and MK Biergarten in Wolverton.

    Pubs are judged by members using national CAMRA criteria (which you can access on the previous page). The process for 2027 will start again in the autumn.

  • Progress with the Lamb, Stoke Goldington Monday 2 February 2026

    The Lamb's owner is selling the Lamb. As it is an ACV, the Lamb communityAction Group came together to buy the pub and to run it as a community pub.

  • St Albans City of Ale Thursday 16 April 2026

    April will see St Albans become the City of Ale , supporting CAMRA Members' weekend from Thursday 16 to Tuesday 21 April 2026.
