It is in the heart of the old village, so feels like the old village pub it once was. There is a pleasant, quiet garden at the back with tables on a small paved area and further tables in fenced-off children's play area. Pub is welcoming, comfortable and in excellent decorative order, with the bar straight ahead as you enter and a games room up two steps on your left.
