Venue is a Taproom within the Blackened Sun microbrewery on the Heathfield trading estate. It has long trestle tables and bench seating, plus some stools. Six taps serve Blackened Sun beers, often a collaboration brew, and there are often two extra taps. All Blackened Sun-brewed beers are naturally conditioned, unfined, unpasteurized and unfiltered, served from membrane-keg; most are vegan. Current beers on tap can usually be found on their Facebook page. Bottled house beers (can also be take-away) soft drinks, ciders, wine, some spirits and often guest beers are also available; growlers can be refilled. Alcohol- and Gluten-free beers usually available. They also now have an in-house coffee shop, roasting their own coffee and open during weekdays from 8.30am (until 5pm Mon-Thu and 10pm on Fri) plus the usual taproom hours.
