St Albans Beer & Cider Festival is back for the 28th time at the Alban Arena. As always, they are celebrating a piece of local history - this time it's the centenary of the Ballito Hosiery Mill, which employed hundreds of local women in the mid-20th century, and had a major impact on the city.

They are planning hundreds of cask ales, craft beers, international brews, ciders, perries and even premium wines and spirits. As well as bars and seating situated over three floors, there's plenty of outdoor space. And a selection of street food offerings plus an array of live music acts, games and other entertainment.
